Open Access Policy

Beginning with Volume 5, Issue 2 (December 2025), all articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits users to read, download, copy, share, distribute, adapt, and reuse the published material for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original publication, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are clearly indicated.

Articles published before Volume 5, Issue 2 (December 2025) remain licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). These articles may be read, downloaded, copied, shared, and adapted for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate attribution is given.

Authors retain the copyright to their work and grant JSSAL the non-exclusive right of first publication. JSSAL does not charge authors article processing charges, submission fees, or publication fees, and it does not charge readers for access to published content.

JSSAL supports the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative and is committed to the immediate and unrestricted dissemination of scholarly research, subject to the Creative Commons license applicable to each article.
